Russell G. Jones

Executive Director, Sagemark Consulting Private Wealth Services

In October of 2003 Russ Jones assumed the role of Executive Director for the Private Wealth Services Group of Sagemark Consulting/Lincoln Financial Advisors. His primary area of expertise lies within the high net worth market where Russ is responsible for the development of key concepts and strategies that will have a significant impact on the financial lives of these individuals and their families. Prior to assuming his role as Executive Director, Russ was the Regional Chief Executive Officer of Sagemark Consulting in Denver for 12 years. He led and supported a team of 100 financial planners and management personnel who provided sophisticated estate, business and investment strategies to affluent business owners and individuals, whose net worth were typically 7-10 figures. Russ has been a main platform speaker at the annual conference of the International Association of Financial Planning, the Allied Jewish Federation's Annual Estate Planning Forum, GAMA International's LAMP meeting, and numerous technical and business management sessions for Lincoln's regional chief executive officers and senior financial planners.

Timothy S. Johnson,J.D.

Chief Investment Strategist

Tim is Chief Investment Strategist for Lincoln/Sagemark Consulting. Specialties include fixed-income, equity allocations, alternative investments and affluent wealth management. He serves as Chairman of both the Manager Selection Committee and Investment Policy Committees. Tim worked for NYSE member firms in several positions. He has held the position of manager of arbitrage trading. Tim specialized in debt, convertible and risk arbitrage analysis and trading for the firm's principal account. He has also worked in municipal finance, arranging municipal and private-use bond issues relating to arbitrage and investment strategies in bond issue proceeds. Proceeds of these issues were generally ten million dollars and greater. In addition, Tim served as sole portfolio manager of a registered, diversified equity mutual fund. Tim managed all aspects of the fund's research and trading functions. Tim received his BA in Political Science from Lipscomb University in 1981. He received his Series 7 in 1982, and graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1985.

Douglas B. Richmond

Director, Sagemark Consulting Private Wealth Services

In October of 2003 Doug Richmond stepped away from his personal financial planning practice and took on his role as Director for the Private Wealth Services Group. He has been affiliated with Sagemark Consulting/Lincoln Financial Advisors since 1972. Since joining the financial services industry, Doug has consistently achieved the highest levels of success within the organization. Doug's primary area of expertise lies within the risk management area where he is able to deliver unique strategies and tactics supported by strong product selections. Prior to joining PWSG the key focus of Doug's practice was in the brokerage arena. He maintained a number of profitable relationships with property and casualty, private banking and stock brokerage representatives throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Another facet of his practice catered to the needs of business owners and individuals who were looking to address their wealth preservation and estate planning needs. He ran a collaborative practice with a well-established team of financial planners who continue to serve his clients today.

Dianna Parker, CFP®

Director of Planning

With over 17 years as a planner in private practice, Dianna's expertise includes a broad knowledge of complex estate planning, business succession planning and retirement planning concepts. She spends most of her time developing creative design ideas that enhance the financial well-being of her clients. Her private practice is chiefly focused on the intricate needs of owners of large, closely-held businesses. In her role as a national resource, Dianna provides technical support to advisors throughout the country. She also frequently hosts a variety of nationally disseminated educational sessions focused on current tax law and planning strategies. She and the Financial Advisory Team maintain the highest "Serve First, Last and AlwaysSM" philosophy as it relates to all clients. Dianna is a summa cum laude, Master's degree graduate from Southern Methodist University and was in private practice with Lincoln prior to taking on the Director's role for the Southern Regional Planning Group. Dianna was named one of Dallas' Top Financial Planners by D Magazine.
